There are two banks conveniently placed a short walk up the road along with a variety of shops, restaurants and other amenities.  Raphael Park is just down the road towards Romford, with its large lake, ornamental garden, playing fields and pleasant woodland.

Parkside is located close to the M25 on a main bus route serving both nearby Romford, with its wealth of retail outlets and connecting mainline rail services to London, and Brentwood town centre.
