Apply to be a resident

Currently there are 3 vacancies at Parkside.

We want it to be as easy as possible to apply to Parkside, all of the forms and information you need are on this page.   We would encourage you to phone us to arrange a visit and find out more about the home.  To make an appointment please call 01708 743110 and ask for one of the following members of staff:  Diana Mfune, Amy Szuts or Gill Feinson.

To help you consider whether Parkside is right for you, please see the Statement of Purpose which sets out our aims and objectives, and our Service Users’ Guide which gives lots of useful information.

Our three main criteria for admission are an assessment of needs of the prospective resident, the ability to pay for care (or having the necessary funding available) and sympathy with the Christian ethos of the home.

Once we receive your application form, our manager will then make an appointment with you to arrange an assessment, so that we can be sure we can meet all your needs and requirements. Once this has been done a date can be set for you to move in.

You will then be asked to sign a contract. To give you an idea of what it might look like, please see a sample in Service Users’ Guide.

Please also view our Quality Assurance Report, which is from the Quality Team of the London Borough of Havering and our consultants.

If you have any questions or would like an update on your application, please call us on +44(0)1708 743110.
