Food

All of our food is prepared and cooked in-house. This means we are able to offer a varied menu and to suit all of our residents’ dietary needs.

Mealtimes are normally held during the following times at Parkside:

Breakfast in Dining Room available between 7.15am and 9.30am

Mid-morning drinks are served at 10.30am.

Lunch is served in the Dining Room or the residents' rooms from 12.30pm with a mid-afternoon refreshments provided at around 2.30pm.

Evening Tea is served again either in the Dining Room or the residents' rooms from 5pm.

Sample Breakfast Menu:

Tea or coffee
Choice of fruit juices
Toast or bread (with a choice of white or wholemeal bread) with a selection of jams or marmalade
Porridge and a variety of popular cereals (e.g. Cornflakes, Weetabix, Fruit & Fibre, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes)
Fresh fruit

There will also be a chef's daily choice available of sausages, bacon, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, eggs (fried, scrambled, poached or boiled) or a bacon or sausage sandwich.

Friday Fish or omelette
Served with peas, chips or mash potato
Roly-poly bread & butter pudding Sandwiches & crisps
Saturday Quiche served with broccoli and carrots

Jacket potato
Strawberries & cream Spaghetti on toast

Sunday Roast beef, Yorkshire Pudding served with roast potatoes, mash, cauliflower cheese and carrots
